A break from the beach

A break from the beach

I was reminded today of how beautiful the Mt. Agamenticus area is when I dropped off my 5 year old son for his camp day.  I thought of all our seasonal visitors, who might not realize that we have such a gem in our backyard.  You know, sometimes a week at the beach can be [...]

Flower Box Trivia

Flower Box Trivia

Each year we enjoy the unveiling of the flower boxes around the property. When I was out walking around today, I had to snap a quick photo of this flower box. Can you guess what flowers make up this array?

My favorite movie house

My favorite movie house

I love an old fashioned movie house.  Growing up in Ogunquit there used to be two of them.  One was located on shore road, The Ogunquit Square Theatre, a sweet little movie house with columns placed so that you had to stragictically choose the right seat for unimpeded viewing. It’s gone now, turned into cute shops and a bookstore.

Monthy photo contest

Monthy photo contest

I recently opened my email to find such a nice surprise.  A guest from New York, who stayed with us in 2009 sent this photo showing a sunset view from his room.  He likes it so much that he has it as his screen saver at work, making everyone a tad bit jealous I’m sure.

Tweetup Success

Tweetup Success

Our #bchmeretweetup was a big success this past Saturday (jan. 23rd).  We didn’t have a full hotel with just tweeps, but we had a great time getting to know each other.
Heather DeSimone offered a beading class, with 7 of us in attendance.  She was patient teaching each of us “newbie” beaders.  Beadin Path is a [...]

Join us for a Tweet Up at the Beachmere Inn, Ogunquit Maine

What is a TweetUP?
When I joined the Twitter community last April, I had no idea the relm it would take.  I learned what a # meant, how to DM (Direct Message) and what a RT (retweet) was supposed to do.  I figured out how to find topics and follow people [...]
